Bogus Journey[]
Granny S Preston Esquire is the grandmother of Bill and first appears on Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey in hell when they are terrorized by their suppressed childhood monsters. When not modeled in hell she is shown as an ugly disrespectful 88-year-old woman who is ungrateful for things her family does. She and Bill's father did not have good relationship and considered him a loser. It is reveled in the second movie where they get banished to the pits of personal Eternal Punishments that she is indeed was his biggest fear as a child when bill enters a personal hell which featured a birthday with her asking Bill for a kiss and people holding him down. He manages to escape but stalks him out his hell to force him to kiss her Because Bill or Ted are not choosing an eternal punishment.
In a deleted scene, Bill and Ted elect to confront their fears, which includes Ted apologizing to Deacon for stealing his Easter candy and both Ted and Bill confronting Colonel Oats. Bill's sole confrontation with his childhood fear is to kiss his grandmother of his own free will.
